For Pizza dough

Ingredients:
all purpose flour ( maida ) – 2 cups
yeast – 1 tsp
salt – 1/2 tsp
water as needed
oil – 2 tsp


For Pizza Sauce

Ingredients:
oil – 1 tsp
onion – 1 tbsp ( chopped )
Tomatoes – 2
garlic – 1/4 tsp ( chopped )
tomato sauce – 2 tbsp
oregano or coriander leaves – 1 tsp

Date & Nut Oats Porridge for kids

Ingredients: ( for Date & Nut Oats porridge )

Date – 1 ( khajoor )
Almond ( badam ) – 1
Pistachio – 1
Cashew – 1
Oats – 1/4 cup
Milk – 1 cup ( 220 ml )

Method:

Step 1) Into a blender, add 1 cashew, 1 pistachio, 1 almond and grind until fine. keep the nuts powder aside.

Step 2) Take a sauce pan. Pour milk. Add oats, chopped dates and nuts powder.

Step 3) Heat on high and bring it to a boil

Step 4) Once it starts boiling, reduce to low and cook for 5 minutes.

Step 5) Remove date skin if any.. Pour into a bowl ..and serve when warm 😀

Cracked wheat Porridge ( daliya )

cracked wheat porridge ( daliya ) for 1 year toddlers & kids ..

Ingredients: ( for cracked wheat ( daliya ) porridge )

cracked wheat ( daliya ) fine – 1 tbsp ( 30 gms )
almond ( badam ) – 1
milk – 1 cup ( 220 ml )
raw sugar or jaggery – 1/4 tsp

Method:

Step 1) Powder the Almond until fine. Keep aside

Step 2) Take a pan. Add milk, cracked wheat (fine), raw sugar, almond powder and bring it to a boil. ( keep stirring to prevent scorching )

Step 3) Once it starts boiling, reduce to low and cook for 5 minutes. ( keep stirring )

Step 4) Once ready, pour into a bowl.. and let it cool.. Serve when slightly warm..

Summer Fruit Popsicle for kids

Ingredients: ( for Summer Fruit Popsicle )

note: You can use any fruits ..

oranges ( chopped or small pieces)
kiwi fruit ( peeled & chopped or sliced )
1 apple or pear ( for making juice )
1 cup water ( 200ml )

Method:

Step 1) Into a blender, add the apple or pear pieces, 1 cup water and blend till smooth

Step 2) Take the popsicle mould, add the orange and kiwi pieces, pour the juice and top with popsicle stick.

Step 3) Freeze 6 hours or overnight.

Step 4) To Thaw: Show under warm water for 30 seconds or let it stand in a warm-water bath for 1 minute. Slowly release the popsicle stick to remove the fruit popsicle.. enjoy 😀

Fried Chicken Pulao & Goat Pepper Fry

Ingredients: ( for fried chicken Pulao ) .. Serves 5

To fry Chicken:
Chicken – 1 ( cut into pieces )
cloves – 4
cardamom – 4
cinnamon stick – 2 inch
fennel seeds – 1 tbsp
coriander seeds – 1 tbsp
ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
lime or lemon juice – 1 tbsp
turmeric powder – 1 tsp
chilli powder – 1 tsp
yogurt – 1/4 cup
tomato – 2 ( chopped )
oil & ghee ( for frying)

To Cook rice:
Basmati rice – 3 Cups
Water – 4.5 Cups
Green chilli – 2
Coriander & mint leaves
Ghee – 1 tbsp
salt to taste

To Garnish:
Onion – 2 big ( sliced )
Cashews – 200 gms
Raisins – 80 gms
oil & ghee – 3 tbsp
coriander & mint leaves

tomato – 2
turmeric powder – 1 tsp

water – 3/4 cup ( 200 ml )

To Fry in the end:
Cardamom – 3
Cloves – 3
star anise petal – 1
cinnamom stick – 2″
pepper – 1 tbsp
fennel seeds – 1 tbsp
greenchillies 5 – 6
coriander & mint
oil

Badam (Almond) Kulfi recipe sugarfree


Ingredients: ( for Badam Kulfi / almond popsicle )

Badam ( Almonds ) – 1/3 cup ( or 100 gms ) soaked overnight or 20 minutes in hot water
Dates – 8 ( mejdool) or ( 12 normal dates ) soaked overnight or 10 minutes in warm water
Coconut milk ( or cream ) – 200 ml ( or regular milk )
water – 3/4 cup ( 160 ml )

Method:

Step 1) Into a blender, add soaked almonds, soaked dates along with soaked water and 1/2 cup (100 ml) water. Grind to a paste

Step 2) Pour the ground paste into a sauce pan. Rinse the blender with 1/4 cup water and pour into the sauce pan

Step 3) Bring it to a boil

Step 4) Once it starts boiling, mix for 30 seconds and remove from heat.

Step 5) Pour 200 ml coconut milk ( or cream ). Mix. Let it cool for 20 minutes.
( Coconut milk is for dairy-free option ) ( If you don’t have coconut milk, you can make with regular milk )

Step 6) Pour into kulfi mould ( or popsicle mould ) and freeze for minimum 8 hours or overnight.

Step 7) To eat, thaw the popsicle mould (kulfi mould) under warm running water for 30 seconds and enjoy 😀
