Semolina ( rava ) pudding recipe ( for 1+ toddlers & kids )
Ingredients: ( for semolina (rava) pudding )
2 Cups / 500 ml – milk ( thick milk / full fat milk )
1/4 cup – semolina ( rava )
1.5 tbsp – sugar ( or 1.5 tbsp agave nectar or jaggery)
1/2 tsp – vanilla essence ( or 1/4 tsp vanilla paste )
1/4 cup – semolina ( rava )
1.5 tbsp – sugar ( or 1.5 tbsp agave nectar or jaggery)
1/2 tsp – vanilla essence ( or 1/4 tsp vanilla paste )
Method:
Step 1) Get ready with all the ingredients
Step 2) Into a saucepan, add 1/4 cup semolina( rava), 1.5 tbsp sugar, little milk and whisk well..
Step 3) Pour the remaining milk, 1/2 tsp vanilla and mix ..
Step 4) Heat on medium-high and bring it to a boil.. ( keep stirring every 20 seconds) ..
note: this will slowly start thickening .. ( stir like ‘8’ to prevent scorching )
Step 5) Once it starts boiling, TURN OFF and remove from heat ..
Immediately pour into the bowls .. Serve warm or cold !
You can serve this to 1+ Toddlers & kids .. This pudding is ideal for breakfast or as a quick evening snack ! .. Hope your little one likes it 😀 ..
