CARROT PANCAKE RECIPE ( FOR 7 – 24 MONTHS BABY ) #babyfood
Ingredients:
Carrot – half cup ( or 100 gms ) grated
Banana – half (ripe)
All purpose flour or rice flour – 1 tbsp
Water – 1 tbsp
Method:
Step 1) Take a bowl, add the banana and mash well using a fork or fingers. Add 1 tbsp water and mix well. Add the grated carrot, flour and mix well. Should be a thick batter.
Step 2) Heat a pancake pan or Tawa/skillet on medium-heat. Grease with butter or oil. Spoon small pancakes and cook both-sides for 1 minute or until firm. Remove to a plate and feed baby.
TIP: This pancake can also be made with egg. To make with egg, add 1 egg to the same batter and mix well. Follow STEP 2 for cooking.
